THERE IS NO OTHER SIDE! THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA DOESN'T DO THIS! WE'RE SO MUCH BETTER THAN THIS!!! Every United States Citizen has a voice and an opinion in our system of Democracy. I use this blog as one way that I express my opinion. I am wring this post less than a week after a young mother was killed by an Ice Officer in Minneapolis. This woman was impeding Ice Officers on a street that Ice was carrying out operations. When confronted with possible arrest by Ice Officers, she tried to escape and drive away. One officer, fearing he might be hit by this car, shot the woman in the face. But a video shows the woman frantically turning her wheel so she wouldn't hit anyone and be able to escape. There is no other side!!! This Ice Officer should not have shot her. End of story!!! But this officer and all Ice Officers should not have been placed in this situation to begin with!!! We're so much better than this!!! I am hopeful that all good people, with ethics and morals, will implore that our government immediately stop Ice from conducting these operations in Minneapolis and request that Congress pass legislation that will enact clear laws on immigration and enforcement policies and prevent Executive orders and actions that lead to horrible consequences for all of us. I apologize. I should have written and spoke out against this weeks ago. The United States of America is blowing up small boats that "might" be carrying drups. Over sixty people have died who may have been drug runners. How can this happen? We are the greatest country in the history of the world and have the strongest military ever. We can't capture these small boats and put them on trial? We can't give them due process. Life is so pecious. Every life is valuable. Some of these boats may not have even been carrying drugs. We're so much better than this!
