There are no two sides! Russia is wrong in the war in Ukraine!

How can anyone disagree with this statement! But this might be possible if people don't know history or disregard facts!!! Also, many people like sound bites and don't do necessary research before taking a position. Ukraine became independent following the break up of the Soviet Union back in the early nineties. That alone should be justification for the United States and the world community to vehemently oppose Putin and Russia when they invaded Crimea (part of Ukraine) more than a decade ago. But Ukraine had hundreds of nuclear weapons when it was part of the Soviet Union and they voluntarily gave them up, dismantled and destroyed them in the interest of world peace as long as they received assurances that they would be protected against threats to their independence. The United States, Russia and other countries in the world community assured Ukraine protections if they did that. YES!!! Russia promised Ukraine protection if they did that!!! Two decades later they invaded Ukraine!!! There are many other reasons why there are no two sides on this issue. Ukraine has been amazing in pretty much fighting to keep its freedom on its own with very limited support from the world community. The United States itself should be more ashamed than any other country. We should fully support Ukraine in as many ways as possible!!!
